The Saint Jude Hospice has established the Saint Jude Hospice Fund with the Hospice Support Foundation. The Hospice Support Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to provide compassionate support for other patients and families dealing with end-of-live issues.

The Hospice Support Foundation honors the memory of hospice patients by providing assistance to those who are coping with life-limiting illness, death, and grief. All donations designated to the Saint Jude Hospice Fund are used locally to support a wide variety of community-based services, research and education that can assist patients and families.

• Examples of support provided by the Hospice Support Foundation include:
• Financial assistance for terminally ill individuals and their families who are experiencing financial need and are unable to be self-sufficient due to the circumstances of their terminal diagnosis;
• Education events that communicate the importance of hospice care to the community;
• Final wishes for terminally ill hospice patients;
• Grief camps for children, teens, and adults;
• Memorial services;
• Bereavement activities.
